Located 34 miles south of Montego Bay, the community of Bluefields, Jamaica has been virtually untouched by commercialism, allowing it to retain much of it’s colonial character. The 5 luxury villas in Bluefields are thus set against backdrop of unspoiled natural beauty.
In that spirit, the identity system was inspired by the destination’s natural, distinctive, and highly personalized villas. I married subtle background textures (adding sophistication & historical notes) with a bright supporting color palette to reference the island’s vibrant tropical plants & flowers. The logo itself was inspired by the ornamental details of the villa owners’ unique Jamaican furniture collection.
